Cowries (Haar)
Kashmiri Pandits traditionally play a game with cowries during Shivratri, which they call "Herath" in Kashmiri, where children and elders participate together, signifying the social importance of the festival where families gather to pray and receive blessings from elders; this game is often played with cowries as the playing pieces.
