Humanity is going through a difficult time. The situation across the globe is having its impact on the citizens of our country too. In a nation where almost a billion and half souls reside and where as many as four great religions of the world, namely Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism, have their roots, religious beliefs and faith create a complex web of social existence. With two major religions, Islam and Christianity, having a global presence, including in India, happenings in one corner of the world do tend to affect the citizens of this great nation too. Under such circumstances, armed forces stand out for an irreligious character and secular outlook. One of the aims of bringing out this edition is to invite the attention of populace to the soldierly way of observing faith and giving priority to the country over the Gods. If everyone starts following the way shown by the soldiers, a lot can change in no time.
